Hi, I’m Rosalinde Clara. I am a surface pattern designer and illustrator whose work is licensed in Canada and the United States and available internationally. I create bright, joyful artwork for art prints, greeting cards, and surface patterns, combining color, energy, and playful, nature-inspired designs that translate seamlessly across products.

I live on the wide open Canadian prairies, where I draw daily inspiration from nature. My creative journey has explored painting, sculpture, glassblowing, and clothing design, but surface pattern design became my focus in 2020. I love creating designs people can live with and enjoy every day, from fabric and wallpaper to stationery and home decor.

My illustrations are known for bold colors, expressive florals, nature-inspired motifs, and uplifting energy. My specialty is bright, playful, and vibrant designs that work beautifully across art prints, greeting cards, and licensed products.

I have professional freelance experience collaborating with brands, manufacturers, and licensing partners, and I understand how to deliver artwork that meets industry standards. I am also represented on Illustrators for Hire, connecting with art directors and clients around the world. My work was recently featured in Cat Coq’s 2026 Trend Report, highlighting my designs as part of emerging illustration trends.

When I am not creating, you’ll often find me gardening, reading, or biking with my family. Creativity is at the heart of how I live, and I feel grateful to share that part of myself through my work.
